Terra Santa “Japan Quest” Day5

Day5 Took a break, went hiking.
We had done 4days seakayaking,
it was a kind of breaking day today.
We decided to hike “the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes”
which are registered as “UNESCO World Heritage”.

At first,we went to World Heritage Centre in the city hall
to see a DVD about them.

We start hiking at “Hosshinmon Oji” which is a gate to get in Kumano Hongu.
It took 1hour hike we got to the temple,”Fukujyu In”,

took a “Zazen” practice & lunch there.

It was just right time to hike Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route,
young fern was very bright in the forest.

We took an other hour to get to “Kumano Hongu Taisha” grand shrine.

We stay Japanese traditional style hostel “minsyuku Wadama”
at the Yunomine Onsen hot springs.
